UAE President and Brazilian President Discuss Strategic Partnership and Global Cooperation

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: President of UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Excellency Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, President of the Federative Republic of Brazil, held discussions on strengthening bilateral relations as part of the two countries’ strategic partnership.

The leaders emphasized their shared commitment to advancing ties across various sectors, including economic, commercial, developmental, technological, climate action, and renewable energy. Both sides underscored the alignment of their priorities and ambitions in achieving sustainable development.

During the call, President Sheikh Mohamed expressed gratitude to President Lula for inviting the UAE to participate in the 19th G20 Heads of State and Government Summit, recently hosted by Brazil. He commended the Brazilian leader for his efforts in ensuring the summit’s success and fostering outcomes that promote international cooperation and development.

The discussion also covered regional and international issues of mutual concern. The leaders highlighted the importance of multilateral action to address global challenges, while reaffirming their commitment to strengthening international peace, stability, and security.
