UAE President Awards Order of Zayed to US President Trump

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan today conferred the Order of Zayed, the United Arab Emirates’ highest civilian honour awarded to heads of state, upon United States President Donald Trump in recognition of his efforts to enhance the strategic partnership between the UAE and the US.

The prestigious award was presented during President Trump’s state visit to the UAE and symbolises the country’s deep appreciation for his role in advancing bilateral cooperation across multiple sectors.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed stated, “By awarding the Order of Zayed to President Donald Trump, we express our appreciation for his efforts to strengthen the ties that unite the UAE and US while underscoring our shared commitment to further expanding cooperation.”

The honour also reflects the UAE’s pride in its close and longstanding relations with the United States—an enduring partnership founded on mutual respect, shared interests, and a joint commitment to regional and global stability.

President Trump expressed his gratitude for the honour, reaffirming the strong bonds between the two nations and the importance of continued collaboration to support peace, prosperity, and innovation.

The Order of Zayed is the UAE’s highest accolade, named after the nation’s founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and is awarded to distinguished leaders who have significantly contributed to strengthening the UAE’s international relationships.
