UAE President Hosts Egyptian Counterpart for Talks on Strengthening Bilateral Cooperation

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, held productive talks today with His Excellency Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of Egypt, during a fraternal visit by President El-Sisi to the UAE. The meeting, which took place at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi, focused on reinforcing the deep-rooted ties between the two nations and exploring ways to further enhance cooperation in key sectors aimed at advancing shared development goals and promoting the mutual interests of both countries.
The two leaders exchanged warm greetings and best wishes for the upcoming Eid Al Adha, praying for continued health, happiness, and prosperity for both nations and their people. They also engaged in discussions regarding regional and international matters of mutual concern, with a particular focus on the situation in the Middle East. They emphasized the urgent need for intensified efforts to restore peace and stability in the region, specifically advocating for a ceasefire in Gaza and a clear political path toward a just and comprehensive peace based on the two-state solution.
In a spirit of collaboration, President El-Sisi and President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed reaffirmed their commitment to continued consultation and coordination between Egypt and the UAE, with a shared aim to support regional peace, security, and stability as the foundation for sustained development and prosperity.
Following the discussions, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed hosted a luncheon in honor of President El-Sisi. The meeting was attended by several senior UAE officials, including His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister; Lt. General H.H. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; H.H. Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; and several other prominent members of the UAE leadership.
At the conclusion of the visit, President El-Sisi was bid farewell at the Presidential Airport by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and other senior officials, marking the end of a successful and meaningful visit aimed at further strengthening the fraternal ties between the two nations.
