UAE President Receives Saudi Defence Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of Defence of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday. The meeting was also attended by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court.

During the meeting, Prince Khalid bin Salman conveyed greetings from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia. He expressed their wishes for the UAE to continue on its path of progress and prosperity.

In response, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed extended his greetings to the Saudi leadership, expressing his wishes for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to achieve further advancements and success under its leadership.

The discussions highlighted the enduring and deep-rooted ties between the UAE and Saudi Arabia, focusing on ways to enhance cooperation across various fields to support mutual interests and fulfill the aspirations of both nations’ peoples for development and prosperity.

Key regional and international issues of shared concern were also addressed, with both leaders emphasizing the importance of strengthening efforts to maintain regional security, peace, and stability.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President; Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for National Security; and Dr. Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the President’s Office for Strategic Affairs and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office.

The meeting reaffirmed the strategic partnership and shared vision between the UAE and Saudi Arabia in addressing regional challenges and fostering development across the region.
