UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Begins State Visit to Kuwait
Kuwait, The Gulf Observer: Today, UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan commenced his state visit to Kuwait, arriving at the Amiri Airport to a warm reception from His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait, and His Highness Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Sabah, Crown Prince of Kuwait.
The visit began with a formal welcome ceremony, featuring the national anthems of both nations, a display by an honor guard, and a symbolic military aircraft escort as Sheikh Mohamed’s plane entered Kuwaiti airspace. During a brief meeting at the VIP lounge, Sheikh Mohamed and the Emir of Kuwait engaged in discussions reflecting the strong ties between the UAE and Kuwait.
The procession continued to Bayan Palace, marked by a 21-gun salute and cultural displays, including children waving national flags and traditional Kuwaiti folk performances. Sheikh Mohamed was accompanied by a high-profile delegation, including senior UAE officials, and received a warm welcome from Kuwaiti officials and dignitaries at the palace.
This state visit underscores the enduring fraternal relations and strategic partnership between the UAE and Kuwait.
