UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Arrives in Islamabad

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan arrived in Islamabad on Tuesday on an official visit to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, reaffirming the close and brotherly relations between the two countries.

Upon arrival at Nur Khan Airbase, His Highness was warmly received by Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, accompanied by federal ministers and senior government officials. As the presidential aircraft entered Pakistani airspace, it was escorted by a formation of military jets as a mark of respect and welcome.

An official reception ceremony was held in honour of the UAE President, during which the national anthems of Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates were played. A 21-gun salute was also presented, and a guard of honour was accorded to His Highness.

Military and traditional bands performed ceremonial displays, while groups of children lined the route, waving the national flags of both countries, adding to the festive atmosphere of the welcome.

The accompanying delegation includes Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President; Salem Mohammed Al Zaabi, Ambassador of the UAE to Pakistan; along with a number of ministers and senior officials.

The visit is expected to further strengthen bilateral cooperation and deepen strategic ties between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates across various sectors.
