UAE Re-elected to ARADO Executive Council
Cairo, The Gulf Observer: The General Assembly of the Arab Administrative Development Organisation (ARADO) has endorsed the re-election of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to its Executive Council for the term spanning 2024-2026. This significant announcement emerged during the sidelines of the 58th ordinary meeting of ARADO’s General Assembly, culminating its proceedings in Cairo.
The decision underscores ARADO’s steadfast dedication to fostering sustainable administrative development across the Arab world, with the Executive Council assuming a pivotal role in formulating policies and strategies aimed at realizing this overarching objective.
Amidst deliberations at the 117th ordinary meeting of ARADO’s Executive Council in Cairo, focused efforts were directed towards the advancement of human capital development within Arab nations. Key discussions revolved around identifying prevalent challenges, proposing viable solutions, and exchanging insights on best practices in human resources management and empowerment among member states.
The UAE, a stalwart advocate for progressive governance and human capital enhancement, actively participated in these deliberations. The UAE Government delegation, spearheaded by Ohood bint Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of State for Government Development and The Future, and President of the Federal Authority for Human Resources, included prominent figures such as Laila Obaid Al Suwaidi, Director-General of the Federal Authority for Human Resources, and Ibrahim Fikri, Executive Director of the Support Services Sector.
In her address, Minister Al Roumi underscored the UAE Government’s unwavering commitment to shaping the future trajectory of Arab governmental administration. Emphasizing the imperative of nurturing Arab governments’ human capital and equipping them with requisite future-oriented skills, she reaffirmed the UAE’s dedication to enhancing the readiness of Arab governmental administration for impending challenges and ensuring alignment with dynamic global developments.
