Israeli Airstrikes

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: The United Arab Emirates has strongly condemned the Israeli airstrikes on the Hamad Prosthetics Hospital in the Gaza Strip, which resulted in the deaths and injuries of civilians. In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), the UAE described the attack as a blatant violation of international humanitarian law.

The Ministry denounced the targeting of civilians and civilian infrastructure, emphasizing the inviolability of medical facilities and personnel during conflict. The UAE reaffirmed its categorical rejection of attacks on healthcare institutions, calling for the protection of medical workers and patients.

The statement underscored the urgent need to safeguard civilian lives and ensure the immediate, safe, and unhindered delivery of humanitarian and medical aid to Gaza. It warned that continued Israeli aggression and military escalation would only deepen the humanitarian catastrophe in the region.

Calling for a comprehensive political solution, the UAE urged the international community to intensify efforts toward achieving lasting peace. The Ministry reiterated support for the two-state solution, advocating for the establishment of an independent, sovereign Palestinian state in accordance with international resolutions and the aspirations of the Palestinian people.
