UAE to Participate in 27th GCC Information Ministers Meeting

Doha, The Gulf Observer: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) will participate in the 27th GCC Information Ministers Meeting, scheduled to be hosted by Qatar on May 23rd.

The UAE delegation will be led by Sheikh Abdulla bin Mohammed Al Hamed, Chairman of the National Media Office (NMO) and Chairman of the UAE Media Council.

During the meeting, information ministers from GCC countries will deliberate on the recommendations put forth by various media committees convened under the GCC umbrella in recent months. These recommendations align with the directives of GCC leadership to adapt to the rapid changes in the global media landscape, aiming to achieve significant advancements in Gulf media and contribute effectively to the sustainable development process ongoing in GCC countries.

The agenda of the meeting will include discussions on enhancing Gulf media efforts to support the Palestinian cause and exploring avenues to provide media support to Palestinians at international fora.

This gathering serves as a platform for GCC countries to collaborate and strategize on key media initiatives, reinforcing the collective commitment to advancing regional media objectives and addressing pertinent issues of regional and global importance.
