United Kingdom Foreign Secretary Commends Armenia-Azerbaijan Peace Efforts, Praises U.S. Mediation
Baku, The Gulf Observer: United Kingdom Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs David Lammy has congratulated Armenia and Azerbaijan on what he described as “bold steps” taken in Washington towards achieving peace.
In a statement posted on the X social media platform, Lammy also commended U.S. President Donald Trump for his “vital role” in securing the breakthrough agreement between the two nations.
“The UK stands ready to support peace in the South Caucasus as both sides honour their commitments,” he added, reaffirming Britain’s readiness to assist in sustaining the momentum towards lasting stability in the region.
