Universiti Malaysia Perlis Delegation Visits Bukhara Engineering-Technological Institute to Strengthen Bilateral Cooperation

Bukhara, The Gulf Observer: A delegation from Universiti Malaysia Perlis visited the Bukhara Engineering-Technological Institute, where productive negotiations were held between the Institute’s Rector, Sadoqat Siddiqova, and the Malaysian guests.

The meeting highlighted the growing partnership between Uzbekistan and Malaysia, with both sides emphasizing that in recent years, due to the political will of the leaders of both nations, bilateral relations have entered a new phase of collaboration. Preliminary agreements were made regarding the establishment of a nano laboratory at the Institute and the joint introduction of new academic programs, including green building technology and nanoelectronics.

“The agenda of the negotiations included the development of a joint master’s degree program, the organization of dual scientific guidance for researchers and graduate students, the promotion of scientific activities of researchers, as well as the implementation of joint projects for the social and economic development of the region,” said Rector Sadoqat Siddiqova.

These initiatives aim to enhance educational and scientific cooperation, supporting the shared goals of both countries in advancing technology and contributing to the region’s development.
