Uzbek and Turkmen Leaders Honor Late President Islam Karimov at Hazrati Khizr Complex

Samarkand, The Gulf Observer: As part of the official event program in Samarkand, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, visited the Hazrati Khizr complex to pay tribute to the memory of the First President of Uzbekistan, Islam Karimov.

During the solemn ceremony, the two leaders laid flowers at the burial site of the late President and honored his legacy with a moment of reflection. Surahs from the Holy Quran were recited, underscoring the spiritual and historical significance of the occasion.
