Uzbek Foreign Minister Attends 6th Meeting of Foreign Ministers in the “Central Asia – China” Format

Almaty, The Gulf Observer: Almaty recently hosted the 6th Meeting of Foreign Ministers in the “Central Asia – China” Format, an important diplomatic event aimed at fostering regional collaboration and addressing shared challenges. The meeting was attended by key representatives, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, and gathered high-level officials to discuss the expansion of trade, mutual ties, and regional integration.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, the participants unanimously emphasized the need for enhanced regional security and economic integration. In addition, the importance of advancing infrastructure projects, developing transport-communication networks, and promoting environmental and cultural-humanitarian cooperation was underscored during the discussions.
In his remarks, Uzbek Foreign Minister Mr. Saidov reaffirmed Uzbekistan’s commitment to strengthening comprehensive cooperation with its neighboring countries, as well as with China. He stressed the significance of building mutual trust and promoting the stable development of the region.
“We firmly believe that the initiatives proposed during this meeting, across various sectors, will contribute to the common prosperity of all involved,” Mr. Saidov wrote on his official Telegram channel, highlighting the collaborative efforts aimed at creating a stronger, more interconnected Central Asia.
The meeting served as a platform to address regional priorities and challenges, with participants emphasizing a united approach to overcoming obstacles and fostering long-term, sustainable development in the region.
