Uzbek Foreign Minister Conducts Official Visit to Pakistan

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, is currently on an official visit to Pakistan, aimed at strengthening diplomatic ties and fostering closer cooperation between the two nations.

During his visit, Minister Saidov held a significant meeting with the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shahbaz Sharif, wherein he conveyed warm greetings and best wishes on behalf of the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The discussions between the two leaders encompassed a wide range of topics, including the prospects for deepening bilateral relations and opportunities for enhancing cooperation at both the bilateral and regional levels. Emphasis was placed on bolstering economic, investment, interparliamentary, and cultural ties, as well as strengthening public diplomacy initiatives between Uzbekistan and Pakistan.

Furthermore, Minister Saidov engaged in fruitful discussions with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar. The talks centered on intensifying political and economic dialogue, with a mutual commitment to expanding cooperation across various sectors. Both parties reaffirmed their dedication to enhancing collaboration within international organizations, underscoring the importance of multilateral engagement in addressing global challenges.
