Uzbek President approves higher education cooperation agreement with Kazakhstan
Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev approved an agreement between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on cooperation in the field of higher education and postgraduate education.
The agreement was approved by the resolution of the President of Uzbekistan “On Approval of an International Treaty”.
Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of higher education and postgraduate education on 22 December 2022 during the visit of the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, to Tashkent.
The head of Uzbekistan identified the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation as the competent authority responsible for the implementation of this international treaty.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan was instructed to send the Kazakh side an appropriate notification on the implementation by the Republic of Uzbekistan of the internal procedures necessary for the entry into force of the said international treaty, as well as on the competent authorities responsible for its implementation.
