Uzbek President awards UAE Minister with Order of “Dustlik”
Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: Prospects for the implementation of specific projects and programs in the field of high technologies, artificial intelligence, digitalization, modernization of urban infrastructure, unlocking the trade-investment potential of the regions and other issues were considered during the meeting of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev with a delegation of the United Arab Emirates headed by UAE Minister of Government Affairs Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, held on Tuesday.
The head of the state emphasized that these areas should form the future agenda of the upcoming bilateral summit at the highest level.
In addition, interest was expressed in further expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in such areas as improving the efficiency of ongoing reforms, training professional management personnel and programmers, introducing e-government and other areas.
Following the meeting, the President of Uzbekistan gave instructions to update the “roadmap”, which provides for the acceleration of the implementation of current programs and the preparation of promising projects.
In conclusion, UAE Minister Al Gergawi was awarded a high state award – the Order of “Dustlik” for his great contribution to deepening of the Uzbek-Emirati multifaceted relations and all-round support for the reform program in Uzbekistan.
