Uzbekistan and Oman Foreign Ministers Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Ties in Jeddah

Jeddah, The Gulf Observer: Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, met with Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Albusaidi, the Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman, to discuss key issues on the bilateral agenda.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Ministerial in Jeddah, with both ministers expressing their commitment to further strengthening the ties between their nations. In a post on his Telegram channel, Minister Saidov expressed his gratitude for the recent visit of Oman’s Foreign Minister to Tashkent, emphasizing the shared determination to explore and capitalize on the untapped potential between the two countries.
Minister Saidov outlined the areas of focus for bilateral cooperation, including political consultations, the Intergovernmental Joint Commission, business exchanges, and the development of direct flight routes. Both sides agreed that these initiatives would serve as key steps in deepening the partnership and enhancing mutual relations between Uzbekistan and Oman.
