Uzbekistan, Finland Discuss Expanding Economic and Investment Cooperation

Helsinki , The Gulf Observer: Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, held talks with Finland’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Elina Valtonen, in Helsinki to discuss strengthening bilateral relations and expanding economic cooperation.

During the meeting, Saidov expressed his satisfaction at meeting his Finnish counterpart and noted the positive momentum in relations between the two countries. He highlighted the promising prospects for further collaboration, particularly in the areas of economic development and investment partnerships.

Both sides exchanged views on enhancing cooperation across a wide range of sectors and emphasized the importance of maintaining close coordination on regional developments as well as cooperation at international platforms.

The ministers also reviewed the extensive and forward-looking bilateral agenda, which includes a number of joint initiatives and upcoming events aimed at further strengthening the partnership between Uzbekistan and Finland.

Officials noted that continued dialogue and cooperation would help deepen ties and open new opportunities for collaboration in trade, investment, and regional engagement.
