Uzbekistan FM Meets Oman Investment Chief in Muscat

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: Yesterday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, held a meeting with Abdulsalam Al Murshidi, President of the Oman Investment Authority. According to media reports, the meeting was highly productive.

“Productive meeting with H.E. Abdulsalam Al Murshidi, President of the Oman Investment Authority,” Minister Saidov wrote on his Telegram channel. “We discussed practical ways to increase trade volumes in both directions, promote investments, and facilitate economic cooperation. Regional connectivity remains one of the hot topics on our agenda. We are committed to increasing market access in both regions through our closer ties.”

This significant meeting was part of a broader effort to enhance bilateral economic relations between Uzbekistan and Oman. Notably, on June 28, Muscat hosted the First Uzbek-Omani Business Forum, which attracted over 150 businessmen and enterprises. This forum provided a platform for both nations to explore further opportunities for collaboration and investment.
