Uzbekistan National Pavilion opens in Venice

Venice, The Gulf Observer: The long-awaited event of the year – the 18th Venice Architecture Biennale has kicked off for architecture fans. The opening ceremony of the Uzbekistan National Pavilion took place. It presents unique and colorful structures and fascinating themes.
The research exhibition “Unbuild Together”, dedicated to the history of Uzbek architecture, is an essential step for the country’s artists, architects, and scientists to demonstrate modern cultural and enlightenment ideas to the general public.
Visitors to the pavilion of Uzbekistan receive essential information about the great culture of the country, its unique architectural monuments, finds, and discoveries made by ancestors.
The curators’ attention was drawn to installations reminiscent of our ancient fortresses. At the same time, they convey the desire to connect modern trends with timeless structures created by the masters of the past. The authors of the project note that Uzbekistan’s pavilion attracts everyone’s attention.
For example, an original work using an installation created in the office of the master potter and artist Abdulvokhid Bukhari, in collaboration with “Studio KO” in Morocco and France, is of great interest to visitors.
It should be noted that the Biennale is an international exhibition held in the Castello province of Venice for architecture, fine arts, cinema, dance, music, and theatre.
The majestic exhibition will run until November 26, 2023. The Pavilion commissioner is the Art and Culture Development Foundation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
