Uzbekistan Poised to Begin Exporting Pharmaceutical Products to Kuwait

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: Ambassador Ayubkhon Yunusov recently met with Faisal al-Mojil, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Pharmaceutical Importers Association and CEO of Al Mojil Drug Company, as reported by media. The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector.
During the meeting, the Kuwaiti side was briefed on Uzbekistan’s modern development, its economic potential, and the extensive opportunities within its pharmaceutical industry. Discussions centered on organizing the export of medical products and pharmaceuticals manufactured in Uzbekistan to Kuwait.
The Kuwaiti delegation reviewed a variety of product samples from the regions of Tashkent, Andijan, Fergana, Syrdarya, and Karakalpakstan. To further these discussions, it was proposed to organize online negotiations between representatives of the Kuwaiti Pharmaceutical Importers Association and pharmacies, along with other relevant organizations in Uzbekistan.
Faisal al-Mojil recalled his visit to Uzbekistan in 1999, where he visited landmarks in Tashkent and Samarkand. He expressed his admiration for Uzbekistan’s rapid economic growth and significant achievements in recent years. “We are ready to commence negotiations with Uzbekistan’s ministries and companies to implement mutually beneficial projects,” he emphasized.
