Uzbekistan to host International Informatics Olympiad in 2026
Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: President Shavkat Mirziyoyev chairs a meeting on improving IT infrastructure and digitalizing spheres and industries. The President announced that the International Informatics Olympiad in 2026 will be held in Uzbekistan for the first time.
In this regard, those in charge were given instructions to hold nationwide competitions to select the most gifted 100 students among grades 5-8.
Students will be thoroughly prepared for the Olympiad by qualified experts from countries with a well-developed IT sector.
