Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: A working group of the Republic of Uzbekistan, consisting of 10 people, headed by the head of the Bahodur Lagon Textile company Ziyokiddin Yormatov and responsible persons of the Executive body of state power of Sughd region, visited Asht district, Khovar reported.

The purpose of the group’s visit is to introduce 20,000 hectares of uncultivated land into agricultural circulation and create intensive orchards. Along with this, it is planned to build an industrial zone with an area of 30 hectares at the expense of flat lands between the Asht and Bobojon Gafurov regions.

Chairman of Asht region Shukhrat Muhammadzoda informed the members of the working group about the condition of the lands and their irrigation. As a result of the trip, industry experts noted that it is possible to create intensive orchards on such lands and get the desired harvest.

Then the chairman of the district presented the guests with a map of the land and suggested a suitable area for use.
