President of Uzbekistan receives outgoing US Ambassador

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America Daniel Rosenblum on Wednesday, who is completing his diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan.

The head of our state noted the contribution of Ambassador Daniel Rosenblum to the development of the Uzbek-American relations of strategic partnership.

In recent years, a constructive political dialogue has been established. Mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation is expanding through joint efforts. The volume of mutual trade is growing, and a several projects are being implemented with the participation of leading American companies. Bilateral programs are being implemented in the field of education and health.

In accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, adopted in August this year, the US diplomat was awarded the honorary state award of our country the Order of Dustlik.

The US Ambassador expressed sincere gratitude for the high appreciation of his activities and assured that he would continue to actively support the strengthening of multifaceted cooperation between our countries.
