Uzbekistan and Germany to implement a project to counter climate change
Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: An agreement on the implementation of the grant project was signed between the Uzbek State Ecology Committee and the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ).
The regional project of climate risk management in Central Asia is planned to be implemented in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan.
The total cost of the project is 10 million euros, and it is financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and will be implemented in 2022-2026.
