At the prestigious German Design Award 2025 ceremony, the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation (ACDF) delegation participated, marking a significant achievement for the nation. Uzbekistan’s pavilion at Expo 2025 in Osaka, designed by Atelier Brückner, won the gold award in the category of “Excellent Architecture – Fairs and Exhibitions”.

Named “Garden of Knowledge,” the pavilion symbolizes Uzbekistan’s rich cultural heritage and its commitment to sustainable development. This recognition underscores Uzbekistan’s growing influence in the global architecture and design landscape, showcasing the nation’s architectural innovation and conceptual brilliance.

Gayane Umerova, Chairperson of the Art and Culture Development Foundation and Commissioner of the Pavilion, highlighted that Uzbekistan’s historical crossroads along the Great Silk Road fostered the flourishing of scientific and cultural knowledge. She emphasized that the award-winning pavilion is a testament to Uzbekistan’s dedication to heritage preservation, forward-thinking design, and expanding international cultural dialogue.
