Vietnamese Leaders Extend Congratulations to Canada on National Day

Hanoi, The Gulf Observer: Senior leaders of Vietnam on Tuesday conveyed heartfelt congratulations to their Canadian counterparts on the occasion of Canada National Day, celebrated annually on 1 July.

  • State President Lương Cường sent a congratulatory message to Her Excellency Mary May Jeannie Simon, Governor General of Canada.
  • Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính extended greetings to Prime Minister Mark Joseph Carney.
  • National Assembly Chairman Trần Thanh Mẫn dispatched separate messages to Speaker of the Senate Raymonde Gagné and Speaker of the House of Commons Francis Scarpaleggia.

Marking the occasion, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bùi Thanh Sơn also sent a congratulatory note to Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs Anita Anand.

Vietnamese leaders expressed their best wishes to the Government and people of Canada, voicing confidence that the Comprehensive Partnership between Vietnam and Canada will continue to flourish, bringing tangible benefits to both nations and contributing to peace, stability, and prosperity in the Asia–Pacific region and beyond.
