Vietnamese Organic Products Set to Enter Australian Market
Ha Noi, The Gulf Observer: A delegation comprising 19 Vietnamese businesses, representatives from the Vietnam Organic Agriculture Association (VOAA), and organic farming experts is set to embark on a mission to Australia from March 18 to 25. Organized under the auspices of Mekong Organics, the Export Council of Australia, the Centre for Rural Development-Saemaul Undong, and the VOAA, the initiative aims to showcase a diverse range of Vietnamese organic products and foster collaboration between the two nations in the organic farming sector.
Throughout the week-long visit, the delegation will engage in promotional activities in Sydney, Bairnsdale, and Melbourne, offering insights into Vietnamese organic farming practices alongside a tantalizing array of organic products such as coconut flower nectar juice, pepper, tea, coffee, and cashew.
In addition to promotional events, the delegation will undertake field visits to organic cultivation models in Canberra, the Riverina region of New South Wales, and the Gippsland region of Victoria. These visits will provide valuable opportunities for knowledge exchange and collaboration with Australian organizations, facilitating the sharing of best practices and fostering partnerships in organic agriculture.
The primary objective of the trip is to enhance the production and processing capabilities of Vietnamese firms while forging connections with Australian importers and prominent organic farming trainers. Director of Mekong Organics, Nguyễn Văn Kiên, emphasized the significance of the visit in building trust in the quality of Vietnamese organic products within the Australian market. He expressed optimism that the trip will contribute to the advancement of Vietnam’s organic cultivation, processing, and trade, paving the way for further growth and success in the sector.
