Vietnam's Defence Minister Attends 'Army-2024' Forum in Moscow

Moscow, The Gulf Observer: A high-ranking delegation from the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defence, led by Minister Gen. Phan Văn Giang, is currently attending the International Military-Technical Forum “Army-2024,” which commenced on August 12 at the Patriot Exhibition and Convention Centre in the Moscow suburb.

The delegation’s participation comes at the invitation of Russian Minister of Defence Andrey Removich Belousov. The forum, which spans three days, features official military delegations from 83 countries and showcases more than 1,000 businesses and organizations from Russia and other nations, all presenting military and dual-use products, models, marketing materials, and related information.

“Army” is an annual exhibition and forum organized by the Russian Ministry of Defence since 2015. It serves as a significant platform for countries, businesses, and organizations in the defence industry to display their latest defence products. The event includes an exhibition of advanced defence technologies from Russia and its partner countries, as well as symposiums focused on military techniques and the defence industry.
