Voting in Uzbekistan Presidential Election begins

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: Today, July 9, an important political event – early elections for the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan began. Starting from 8:00, all polling stations across the country were solemnly opened in the presence of the members of precinct election commissions, and the voting process began.
In particular, at polling station No.469 in Yunusabad district of Tashkent city, the national anthem was played at 8:00 a.m., and the voting process began.
“Today, an important political event in the life of our country– Uzbekistan Presidential Election is taking place”, says Mukarram Salimova, Chairman of the Precinct Election Commission No. 469. – Therefore, early in the morning, voters started visiting our precinct to participate in this important process. 2 thousand 358 voters are registered in our polling station. All conditions are created for voters to vote. Portable voting boxes are prepared for our sick, elderly, and incapacitated citizens. In general, all preparations were made to hold this important event properly, based on the requirements of the law.
It is worth noting that the pre-election campaign was carried out in an organized manner throughout the country for a month. A wide range of information was provided to the voters about the candidates. The active participation of voters in the voting process and today’s choice will serve the future of the country, the people, and the children. Therefore, it is important for every voter to participate in the Presidential Election in Uzbekistan actively.
Voting in the election will be held from 08:00 to 20:00.
