World Leaders Extend Congratulations to Việt Nam’s Newly Elected Leaders
Hanoi, The Gulf Observer: Leaders from Russia, Brunei, the United Arab Emirates, Palestine, and Sri Lanka have extended their congratulations to Tô Lâm on his recent election as the President of Việt Nam by the 15th National Assembly.
Russian President Vladimir Putin highlighted the dynamic development of the Việt Nam-Russia relationship within the framework of their comprehensive strategic partnership. President Putin expressed his hope that President Tô Lâm will continue to foster constructive bilateral cooperation across various fields, enhancing benefits for both nations and contributing to security and stability in the Asia-Pacific region.
Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei conveyed his desire to further enhance the friendship and long-term cooperation between Brunei and Việt Nam, both bilaterally and as close partners within ASEAN.
Additionally, congratulatory messages were received from UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President Mahmoud Abbas of the State of Palestine and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organisation, and Sri Lankan Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena.
Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh and Chairman of the Mongolian Parliament Gombojav Zandanshatar also sent letters of congratulations to President Tô Lâm and Chairman of the Vietnamese National Assembly Trần Thanh Mẫn. The Mongolian leaders expressed their commitment to working closely with Vietnamese leaders to strengthen bilateral relations and traditional friendship in all areas, benefitting the people of both countries. They also extended invitations to President Lâm and NA Chairman Mẫn to visit Mongolia, aiming to elevate bilateral ties in celebration of the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations this year.
Chairman of the State Duma of Russia, Vyacheslav Volodin, sent a congratulatory letter to Chairman Trần Thanh Mẫn, emphasizing that the constructive cooperation between the deputies of the Russian and Vietnamese legislatures has bolstered the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two nations. Volodin wished Mẫn success in his new role.
These congratulatory messages underscore the strong international support and the high expectations for continued collaboration and friendship under the new leadership of Việt Nam.
