Professor Yao, 78, currently serves as the dean of the College of AI and the Institute for Interdisciplinary Information Sciences at Tsinghua University. In a recent letter addressed to President Xi, Yao detailed his extensive work in talent cultivation and scientific innovation during his tenure at Tsinghua. He also reaffirmed his determination to contribute to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
