40 Families Relocated to Rebuilt Jabrayil City in Azerbaijan

Baku, The Gulf Observer: The State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons of the Republic of Azerbaijan announced the relocation of 40 families, comprising 200 individuals, to newly constructed homes in Jabrayil city. These families, previously displaced due to conflict, were formally presented with the keys to their residences during a ceremony in the liberated region.

The relocation event was attended by representatives from the Special Representative Office of the President of Azerbaijan for the Jabrayil, Gubadli, and Zangilan districts, along with officials from the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons and other dignitaries.

This initiative reflects the Azerbaijani government’s continued efforts to restore liberated territories and provide dignified living conditions for internally displaced persons (IDPs). The city of Jabrayil, now revitalized with modern infrastructure, is one of many areas undergoing reconstruction to facilitate the return of displaced citizens to their ancestral lands.

The relocation marks another significant milestone in the broader state program aimed at rebuilding liberated regions, fostering sustainable development, and ensuring the reintegration of former IDPs into their communities.
