Olaf Scholz to Visit Kazakhstan for High-Level Talks
Astana, The Gulf Observer: At the invitation of Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Federal Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz is set to pay an official visit to Kazakhstan on September 16-17, according to NHC.
During his visit, Chancellor Scholz will hold high-level talks with President Tokayev in the capital, Astana. The discussions are expected to focus on strengthening bilateral relations, expanding economic cooperation, and addressing key issues in energy, trade, and investment between Kazakhstan and Germany.
Additionally, Chancellor Scholz will participate in the 2nd Central Asia + Germany meeting, a multilateral forum aimed at enhancing cooperation between Germany and the Central Asian nations. This meeting underscores Germany’s commitment to fostering regional partnerships and contributing to the sustainable development of the region.
The visit marks a significant step in reinforcing diplomatic and economic ties between Germany and Kazakhstan, which have seen steady growth in recent years.
