Israeli Airstrikes in Eastern Lebanon Kill 22, Including Four Family Members
Beirut, The Gulf Observer: Lebanon’s Health Ministry confirmed that Israeli airstrikes on multiple locations in the eastern Bekaa Valley resulted in the deaths of 22 people. According to state media reports, the strikes targeted several areas in the Baalbek region.
The ministry issued separate statements confirming the fatalities, with the National News Agency reporting that a strike on the village of Maqneh claimed the lives of at least four family members.
The strikes, described by the Lebanese authorities as the actions of the “Israeli enemy,” have heightened tensions in the region, as the conflict between Israeli forces and groups in southern Lebanon continues to escalate.
