Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: The award ceremony for the winners of the Turkmenistan Youth Prize was held on Saturday at the Center for Public Organizations, celebrating the outstanding achievements of the nation’s youth. A total of 135 winners, selected from 506 nominees, were honored for their contributions to literature, art, culture, science, technology, medicine, sports, and social activities.

The event coincided with the 33rd anniversary of the founding of the Magtymguly Youth Organization, underscoring its commitment to fostering talent and recognizing young individuals aged 16 to 35 who have excelled in various fields. Among the winners were university professors, students, schoolchildren, artists, and young specialists from a broad range of disciplines.

The laureates were presented with memorable gifts, including the book Makhtumkuli, published to mark the 300th anniversary of the renowned Eastern poet and thinker, along with certificates and flowers. Nominations for the prestigious award came from various state institutions, public organizations, and educational establishments across the country.
