Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, today visited the seventh edition of the Unmanned Systems Exhibition (UMEX) and the Simulation and Training Exhibition (SimTEX) 2026 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).

Organised by ADNEC Group in cooperation with the Ministry of Defence and the Tawazun Council for Defence Enablement, the exhibitions showcased the latest advancements in unmanned systems, robotics, unmanned aerial vehicles, simulation and training technologies, smart control systems, artificial intelligence, and other emerging technologies.

During his tour of the national and international company pavilions, His Highness was briefed on cutting-edge innovations and engaged with exhibitors to gain insights into the solutions and technologies available across civil, commercial, and defence sectors. He highlighted the importance of UMEX and SimTEX as global platforms for dialogue, knowledge exchange, and the advancement of technologies that support sustainable development while strengthening the UAE’s leadership in future technologies and innovation.

His Highness was accompanied by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President; and a delegation of senior officials.
