Bucharest, The Gulf Observer: Romania strongly condemned what it described as Iran’s “unjustified aggression” against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during a telephone conversation between Romanian officials and Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.

During the call, the Romanian side denounced attacks targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure, stressing that such actions are unacceptable and pose a serious threat to regional stability and international security.

Both sides underlined the importance of maintaining close coordination and continuing the exchange of information between their countries and across the broader region. Romania reaffirmed its commitment to sustained dialogue with its partners in the Middle East to address emerging security challenges.

The discussion also focused on the situation of Romanian citizens affected by the recent developments in the region. Officials reviewed issues related to airspace access and explored avenues of cooperation aimed at ensuring the protection and assistance of Romanian nationals.
