Azerbaijan Condemns Missile Launch Toward Türkiye, Reaffirms Solidarity
Baku, The Gulf Observer: Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan has strongly condemned the launch of a ballistic missile from the territory of Iran toward Türkiye, describing the act as a serious threat to regional security.
In an official statement, the ministry expressed firm support for Türkiye, reiterating Azerbaijan’s solidarity with the brotherly nation.
“We strongly condemn the launch of a ballistic missile from the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran toward the territory of the Republic of Türkiye,” the statement said.
The ministry further emphasized Azerbaijan’s unwavering backing for Türkiye’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
“We express our solidarity with brotherly Türkiye and reaffirm our unwavering support for its security and territorial integrity,” it added.
The statement comes amid heightened tensions in the region, with calls from various quarters for restraint and de-escalation to maintain peace and stability.
