Amir of Qatar meets President Erdogan in Istanbul

Istanbul, The Gulf Observer: The Amir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held discussions on Sunday with his brother, His Excellency President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of Turkiye, on the existing strategic relations between the two brotherly countries, and ways to develop them in various fields, in addition to developments in the region.

HH the Amir reiterated that Qatar will continue to provide support in all aspects to alleviate the impacts of the crisis.

During the meeting held at the Vahdettin Pavilion in Istanbul, views were exchanged on all regional and international issues and developments.

In this regard, HH the Amir of Qatar further extended his condolences to the President of Turkiye regarding the victims of the recent earthquake, expressing the solidarity of Qatar’s leadership, government, and people with the brotherly Turkish people.

The President of Turkiye held a lunch banquet in honor of HH the Amir and the accompanying delegation on the sidelines of the event.
