International ‘Yango’ all set to invest in Pakistan

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: Yango, an International company providing digital urban mobility services is all set to invest and start its services in Pakistan.

Chaudhry Salik Hussain invited the International delegation to invest in e-bikes manufacturing in Pakistan as there is a huge investment opportunity in the sector

This was informed by the Anton Zykov – Vice President, Yango during a meeting with the Board of Investment here on Thursday. The meeting was chaired by Federal Minister for Board of Investment (BOI), Chaudhry Salik Hussain via Zoom, while Secretary BOI, Asad Rehman Gilani moderated the meeting.

Addressing the delegation, the minister welcomed Yango for its readiness to invest in Pakistan and start its services in the country and desired that the International side should also discover other areas of investment as well.

BOI would help Yango to arrange meetings with different stakeholders to initiate its work in Pakistan

Chaudhry Salik Hussain invited the International delegation to invest in the e-bikes manufacturing in Pakistan as there is a huge investment opportunity in this sector.

Extending every possible support to Yango group, the minister assured that their problems would be solved on priority.

Secretary BOI, Asad Rehman Gilani suggested that Yango must also work on providing agriculture services in Pakistan because it has a vast investment opportunity. He assured that BOI would help Yango to arrange meetings with different stakeholders to initiate its work in Pakistan.

Earlier, Anton Zykov – Vice President, Yango informed the meeting that the company was successfully operating in 33 countries across Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and South America in the fields of ride-hail, foodtech, delivery, e-commerce etc.

He said that they have finalized to invest in the Pakistani market which will help bringing sufficient foreign investment, direct and indirect job opportunities, and digitalize the transport infrastructure in Pakistan.

The International delegation expressed the pleasure for the overwhelming response from the minister and secretary BOI.

The meeting was also attended by Nadeem Bashir, Director General BOI, Faisal Iftekhar – Head Pakistan, Yango, Miral Sharif – GM Islamabad, Yango and Arzish Azam, CEO Ejad Labs.
