Ashgabat to host ‘White City Ashgabat’ international universal exhibition
Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: Turkmenistan will host the XXII International Universal Exhibition “White City Ashgabat” on the occasion of Ashgabat City Day, Deputy Prime Minister for Construction and Industry Baymyrat Annammedov announced in his report to President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov during a government meeting held on Sunday in the digital format.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister’s report, 140 domestic and foreign companies, organizations, institutions and private entrepreneurs are expected to participate in the multidisciplinary review, the official Turkmen media reported.
The annual exhibition, organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the Ashgabat mayor’s office, will present the wonderful image and unique beauty of the white marble capital, the achievements of various sectors of the economic complex, as well as the economic, cultural, educational potential of the main city of the country, its enormous opportunities and prospects.
In honor of the Ashgabat City Day festive concerts, solemn assemblies and creative meetings are planned.
Addressing the meeting’s participants, the Head of State emphasized the importance of the annual international exhibition, which showcases the large-scale work being done to transform the Turkmen capital into one of the most beautiful and comfortable cities in the world, and directed the Deputy Prime Minister to ensure the exhibition’s and other festivities’ high quality.
During the meeting Deputy Prime Minister for Trade Complex and Textile Industry Batyr Atdayev said that the Turkmen delegation will participate in an international exhibition of textile equipment in Milan.
