I am very disappointed to see destroyed graves in Fuzuli

Fuzuli, The Gulf Observer: As the chairman of the Independent Standing Human Rights Commission of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), I am leading the delegation that came to visit these places. About two years ago, the delegation visited here together with the fact-finding mission of the Commission. The purpose of this trip is to come and see what happened after the last delegation. We were very impressed during the visit.

Muhammad Laval Sulaiman, chairman of the OIC, who visited the Fuzuli region freed from the Armenian occupation, said this in an interview with the regional correspondent of AZERTAC .

Expressing that they are happy to see the reconstruction works in the areas freed from occupation, the chairman said: “During the introduction to the newly completed school, we were informed that children will come to school in the next few weeks. At the same time, it is nice to see the apartments under construction. Serious work is being done for the comfort of the people who will live here.”

Noting that one of the places visited by the delegation was a mosque, Muhammad Laval Sulaiman added: “They allowed keeping animals here, and we know that in general, keeping pigs is not correct in Islamic rules. We are not happy about it. I was very disappointed to see the destroyed graves. I was very saddened by what I saw in the massively destroyed places. I was horrified by the digging of some graves and the removal of gold teeth from corpses. These are all vandalism.”
