Uzbek President greetings to Chess team

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated the men’s team of Uzbekistan on their historic victory in the World Chess Olympiad.

He spoke with the team members by phone and congratulated them on their victory on behalf of the people of Uzbekistan. Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted that the team of Uzbekistan clinched a historic victory.

The President stressed that Uzbekistan will begin preparations for the World Chess Olympiad, which will be held in our country in 2026, from today.

The men’s team of Uzbekistan thanked the President of Uzbekistan for the created conditions.

The head of Uzbekistan also congratulated the women’s team of Uzbekistan and coaches on their successful participation in the World Chess Olympiad.
