Sultan of Oman and Emir of Kuwait Engage in Official Talks

Kuwait City, The Gulf Observer: In a display of esteemed diplomacy and cordiality, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and Sheikh Mishaal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, the distinguished Emir of the State of Kuwait, engaged in an official session of talks at Bayan Palace in the capital, Kuwait City on Monday.

At the onset of the session, the Emir of Kuwait reaffirmed his sincere welcome to His Majesty the Sultan, acknowledging his esteemed status as a distinguished guest of the State of Kuwait. He extended warm wishes for a pleasant stay to His Majesty and his accompanying delegation.

In reciprocation, His Majesty the Sultan conveyed his heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the Emir for the gracious welcome and generous hospitality extended towards him and his delegation.

During the session, both leaders delved into the profound and fraternal ties that bind their nations and peoples, recognizing the enduring support and attention accorded to these relations by their sagacious leaderships.

The discussions revolved around avenues to enhance the existing cooperation and partnership between Oman and Kuwait, with a keen focus on serving the interests of their respective peoples.

Furthermore, the leaders exchanged insights on a spectrum of regional and international issues, underscoring the importance of dialogue and collaboration in addressing shared challenges and pursuing mutual goals.

Representing the Omani side in the official talks were distinguished figures including HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, and HH Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham Al Said, among other esteemed officials spanning various key ministries and diplomatic roles.

On the Kuwaiti side, notable attendees included Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al Hammad Al Sabah, leading the Mission of Honour, Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al Ahmad Al Sabah, Prime Minister in charge of forming the government, and Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Sabah Al Salem Al Sabah, Prime Minister in charge of handling urgent matters, along with other esteemed dignitaries and representatives.
