Aid Deliveries to Gaza Fall Short of Ceasefire Quota Amid Israeli Restrictions

Gaza, The Gulf Observer: Gaza’s Media Office reported that the number of aid trucks entering the region over the past two days has been significantly lower than expected, with fewer than 180 trucks entering. This is a stark contrast to the daily quota of 600 trucks outlined in the ceasefire agreement between Israel and the Palestinian group Hamas. The office attributes the shortfall to ongoing Israeli restrictions on the entry of humanitarian supplies into Gaza.
The reduced aid deliveries, amounting to only 30 percent of the anticipated volume, underscore the ongoing challenges in addressing the humanitarian crisis in the region. This shortage of essential supplies, including food, medical resources, and other critical aid, continues to exacerbate the dire conditions for civilians in Gaza.
