Amir of Qatar and King of Belgium Discuss Bilateral Relations and Regional Peace Efforts

Doha, The Gulf Observer: His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, held a telephone conversation on Tuesday with His Majesty King Philippe of the Kingdom of Belgium to discuss ways to further strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
During the call, both leaders reviewed avenues for enhancing cooperation and reaffirmed their shared commitment to deepening Qatar-Belgium ties across various sectors.
The conversation also touched upon key regional and international developments of mutual concern. His Majesty King Philippe praised the constructive and influential role of His Highness the Amir and the State of Qatar in promoting peace and stability in the region and beyond.
In particular, King Philippe commended Qatar’s tireless diplomatic efforts in mediating a peaceful resolution to the ongoing crisis in the Gaza Strip. He also acknowledged Qatar’s valuable contribution to facilitating the peace agreement between the Republic of Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The exchange reaffirmed the strong and growing partnership between Qatar and Belgium, as well as their mutual support for peaceful solutions to global and regional conflicts.
