Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan to Implement Student Exchange Program
Baku, The Gulf Observer: Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan have agreed to implement a student exchange program, as detailed in the “Protocol on amendments to the Agreement dated April 3, 2017, on cooperation in the field of education between the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan,” according to media reports.
The protocol stipulates that both countries will exchange an equal number of students each year: 3 students for undergraduate programs, 5 students for master’s programs, 2 students for doctoral programs, and 2 students for basic higher medical education and residency programs.
Following thorough discussions, the bill was put to a vote and adopted in one reading.
This agreement marks a significant step in strengthening educational ties between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, providing opportunities for students to gain international experience and fostering closer academic collaboration between the two nations.
