Azerbaijan and Morocco Sign Cooperation Agreement in Science and Higher Education

Baku, The Gulf Observer: As part of his official visit to the Kingdom of Morocco, Emin Amrullayev, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Science and Education, held a meeting with Azzedine El Midaoui, Morocco’s Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Innovation.

During the talks, the two sides discussed planned initiatives and prospects for expanding cooperation in the fields of science and higher education, emphasizing the importance of strengthening academic and research ties between their respective institutions.

The meeting culminated in the signing of the “Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Science and Higher Education between the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Innovation of the Kingdom of Morocco.”

The agreement outlines a broad framework for collaboration, including the exchange of students at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels. It also provides for the establishment of direct partnerships between scientific and higher education institutions, as well as the implementation of joint research and academic projects.

Officials noted that the agreement marks a significant step toward deepening bilateral relations in education and research, fostering knowledge exchange, and promoting innovation-driven development in both countries.
