Azerbaijan, Oman Discuss Expanding Bilateral Cooperation and Regional Security in Baku

Baku, The Gulf Observer: Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov received the non-resident Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman, Saif bin Rashid bin Saif Al-Jahwari, on March 10 to discuss bilateral relations and regional developments.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the current state of Azerbaijan–Oman relations and explored prospects for expanding cooperation in various fields. They emphasized the importance of strengthening political dialogue, enhancing economic and trade relations, and deepening collaboration in cultural and humanitarian spheres.

The discussions also addressed regional and international issues, including rising tensions and military escalation in the Middle East. Both sides expressed mutual support for efforts to evacuate Omani citizens via Azerbaijan and facilitate the evacuation of Azerbaijani citizens through Oman.

Bayramov and Al-Jahwari underlined the importance of further developing bilateral relations to contribute to regional security and stability, stressing the role of high-level and top-level visits in advancing cooperation between the two countries.
